I strive to create a warm, supportive space where you can feel safe to be yourself. For younger children, this often means using play, their natural way of expressing thoughts and emotions. With teens and adults, sessions typically involve open conversations about thoughts, feelings, and experiences. No matter your age, I invite you to share what’s on your mind, and I’m here to support you, whether you’re looking to better understand yourself, explore mental health topics, or build effective coping strategies. Together, we’ll work toward your goals and the positive changes you hope to see.

Consistent attendance is essential for maximizing the benefits of therapy. Typically, I meet with clients once or twice a week. As therapeutic progress is made, we may gradually reduce the frequency of sessions, eventually tapering off to a natural conclusion.

The level of parental involvement varies from family to family. For some children, there may be limited contact between the therapist and parents, while for others, we may decide to meet together frequently and/or exclusively to best support your child’s needs.

Private school admissions testing, includes cognitive assessments, like the WISC-V for those aged 6 to 16 years. In addition, schools may also require an academic measure, such as the Woodcock-Johnson. These measures help to determine a student's readiness and suitability for private school admission, providing insights into cognitive abilities, academic skills, and learning potential.
Comprehensive evaluations help to identify learning differences and neurodivergence, including dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADHD and Autism, or other psychological factors impacting functioning. These assessments can be instrumental in securing accommodations in educational and workplace settings, as well as for accessing specific public support programs. I also offer psychological evaluations that provide insights into personality and unconscious dynamics, aiding in treatment clarification and goal-setting.

No, I do not prescribe medication as a licensed psychologist. However, I recognize that medication can sometimes be beneficial alongside therapy and often coordinate care. If you are interested in exploring medication options, I am happy to refer you to a qualified provider who can help, such as a psychiatrist, psychiatric nurse practitioner, or primary care doctor.
