Therapy
Therapy offers more than just a space to talk; it’s a collaborative journey toward lasting, meaningful growth. Many come to address specific symptoms like anxiety, depression, or feeling “stuck.” Yet throughout our sessions, therapy often uncovers deeper self-understanding and empowerment.
My therapeutic approach is integrative and client-centered, blending evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. I believe personal growth occurs through the power of storytelling, whether through words, play, or creative expression, all within a compassionate therapeutic relationship. I strive to help individuals from childhood through adulthood to build self-awareness, navigate challenges, and achieve meaningful life changes. My approach is strengths-based, focusing on your innate abilities to help you achieve your therapeutic goals and promote positive change.
Together, we explore your goals and aspirations, helping you gain clarity on what you truly want and value, and opening pathways to a more fulfilling life and richer relationships. This journey is about discovering a more authentic, resilient you.
What I Offer
In-person and virtual sessions (ranging 45-60 minutes, once or twice weekly)
An inclusive practice welcoming individuals of all ages, identities, and backgrounds
Specialized services for children, adolescents, college students, and parents
Play therapy, talk therapy, and parent guidance
Modalities Offered:
-
This approach explores how past experiences and unconscious patterns shape current thoughts, feelings, and relationships. By bringing these dynamics into awareness, clients gain deeper insight, work through inner conflicts, and develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and others. It’s a reflective, insight-oriented process that fosters lasting emotional growth.
-
CBT focuses on the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It helps individuals recognize and reframe unhelpful thinking patterns and develop more effective coping strategies. This evidence-based approach is practical, goal-oriented, and especially helpful for addressing anxiety, depression, and stress-related challenges.
-
SPACE is a parent-based treatment designed to help children and teens with anxiety, OCD, and related difficulties. Rather than working directly with the child, the focus is on coaching parents to respond in supportive but non-accommodating ways. Through this approach, families learn tools to reduce anxiety-driven behaviors and promote the child’s independence and confidence.
